Leaha Shaikh is a dedicated teacher, tutor, and mentor with over 20 years of experience. She began her language journey in seventh grade and earned her B.A. in Secondary English Education from Southeastern University. Throughout her career, she has taught middle and high school Spanish and English, mentored college students, and homeschooled her daughters. Leaha also holds a Master’s Degree in Romance Languages with a concentration in Spanish and is certified in TEFL/TESOL.

Leaha has enriched the lives of students at various institutions, including Northside Christian School and multiple colleges, as a CRU Campus Staff mentor. Her work extended beyond the classroom to mentoring student athletes at the University of South Florida and participating in leadership projects nationwide. Leaha’s passion for language and culture led her to travel extensively, including mission trips to Guatemala and the Dominican Republic, and fulfilling her dream of visiting Spain.

As the founder of La Profe LLC, Leaha now focuses on bridging the English and Spanish-speaking worlds. She teaches Spanish and English to individuals and small groups, both in person and online, and recently became a Provider with the Step Up Scholarship. Leaha remains committed to breaking down language barriers and fostering linguistic connections within her community and beyond.
